Beautiful moments in Bohm

I have to be honest: I'm still kind of disappointed that we didn't get to read words from Bohm aloud.  This is one of my favorite parts of our class--hearing the poetry-like phrases that come out of a variety of people, all there to encourage and uplift.  Because so much of what I enjoy about this activity is listening to what stands out to others, it's hard to replicate it on my own at home. However, I'm going to try.

So, here are some of the phrases that stood out to me in our mindful reading today:
  • system of linkages
  • network
  • all the other parts
  • mutual understanding and trust
  • trust
  • make something common
  • from one person to another
  • emergence of a new content
  • meanings are only similar and not identical
  • creating something new
  • togehter
  • listen to each other
  • work together
  • live in harmony
  • harmony with ourselves
  • ourselves and nature
  • communicate freely
  • listening to what other people have to say
  • create something new between us
  • between us
I really love this idea of pausing to see the linkages and networks that we communicate within.  And then, pausing again to really listen.  Listen in order to understand and try to trust another person and live in harmony.

I wish we could have more of this listening, working together, and harmony.  I'm certainly going to try for the the next couple days of class.  Maybe you'll try with me?

If anyone wants to share, I'd love to hear which phrases stood out to you :)

Efforts to prevent this from happening generally tend to accelerate the breakdown.

Then we may be able to create something new between us.
